Upgrading from Version 3 to Version 4
Version 3 uses a subset of the database tables used by Version 4. This means that if you are currently using Version 3, all you need to do to upgrade to Version 4 is to go to the Version 4 link (above). All your Version 3 data will still be available.
If you want to switch back to Version 3, just go to the Version 3 link (above). The only consequence will be that the features that are unique to Version 4 (column hiding and dividend tax voucher generation) will no longer be available.
Try before registering
When you open Earnings Tracker, you can sign in as "guest@dixon.co.uk" (for the email address) and "guest" (for the password). This enables you to try out the application to see if it is suitable for your needs. Feel free to add/remove/edit items as you wish.
If you want to use Earnings Tracker to keep track of your company's revenue and outgoings, you will need to register within the application. This is necessary in order to separate your entries from everybody else's. We don't make any use of your registration details, but you should use a valid email address so that we can send you a new password if you forget the one you set up when you register.
Alternatively, you can download the source files (PHP/MySQL) for Earnings Tracker here. This enables you to install Earnings Tracker on a web server of your choice, and to modify the code if you want to (please refer to the license information here).
