PHP/MySQL database-driven web site (Europlants)

This web site, which was initially developed at the beginning of 2007, uses a bespoke Content Management System (CMS) developed in PHP/MySQL to enable the content in specific parts of the site to be easily managed by a site administrator. Other parts of the site, which change very infrequently, use static HTML, formatted using a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).

Psychotherapy web site

This web site was produced in June 2005. It is a straight forward promotional web site for a psychotherapist based in the south of Spain. The content for the site was delivered to John Dixon Technology by the psychotherapist. We designed and developed the site, which is now maintained by the owner.

International Telecommunications Union Newsletter - ITU News

This is a version of the ITU News that uses a template developed by John Dixon Technology. We produced several HTML and PDF versions of the newsletters. The source files for the newsletters were delivered to us in PageMaker format.

We designed the template and style sheet for the HTML, and created the HTML pages. Macromedia HomeSite was used as the development tool.

PHP/MySQL web utility (user survey / poll)

This simple web utility, which uses MySQL as the relational database management system and PHP as the server-side scripting language, enables users to respond to a poll about which areas of a web site they use. They are then able to view the results of the poll.

Please note that the web area names used in this demo version of the poll are just sample names.

Earnings Tracker lets you track earnings from multiple companies.

The application makes extensive use of cookies, both session cookies and permanent cookies that are stored on your computer. If you have either of these disabled in your browser, the application will not work properly.

User access is authenticated by use of an email address and password.
